If you've got a separation toilet in your motorhome or caravan, you'll know the main advantage is avoiding chemical treatments and reducing water use. These Thetford waste bags make the system even more practical by lining your solid waste container so you don't have to clean it out after every use. Each roll gives you 20 bags at 500x700mm, which fit Thetford's separation toilet buckets perfectly when used with the bag retainer system. The bags are made from post-consumer recycled plastic, so they're putting waste material back to work rather than creating demand for new plastic. Once a bag's full, you close it with the straps and chuck it in your general waste bin. No need for chemical disposal points, which is handy when you're wildcamping or staying somewhere off-grid.What makes these bags genuinely useful is how they simplify the less glamorous side of touring. Separation toilets already save water and avoid chemicals, but emptying and scrubbing the solid waste container isn't anyone's idea of fun. With these bags, you're essentially using a bin liner system. Fit the bag using the retainer, use the toilet as normal with liquids draining separately into the water waste tank, then when it's about two-thirds full, seal it and dispose of it. For a couple touring, one bag can last several days to a week, depending on usage. The 500x700mm size gives enough coverage to handle the job reliably without tearing, and the easy-close straps mean you can secure everything hygienically. They're designed specifically for Thetford separation toilets, though they might fit other brands with similar-sized containers if you check your dimensions first. Keep a roll on board, and you've sorted one of the main maintenance tasks that comes with motorhome living.SPECIFICATIONS• Material: Recycled Plastic• Content: 20 bags on a roll• Dimensions: 500mm x 700mm.
