Add a vibrant splash of colour to your garden with Thunbergia alata 'Golden Eyes'. This self-clinging climber is perfect for quickly covering trellises, fencing, or netting, providing stunning summer screening with a big impact. It produces a profusion of rich orange flowers, each with a striking dark centre, creating a beautiful visual display. How to Grow: - Sow seeds from February to April on the surface of good seed compost and cover lightly (6mm) with compost or vermiculite. - Maintain a temperature of 20–25°C in a propagator or sealed tray until germination (14–21 days). Ensure light is not excluded. - Once seedlings are large enough, transplant them into 7.5cm pots and continue growing in cooler conditions. - Gradually acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions before planting after all risk of frost has passed. - Space plants 30cm apart in well-drained soil. - Grow in full sun and provide suitable supports such as obelisks or trellises for the stems to climb. - Feed occasionally and water regularly throughout the growing season.
