Boiled Linseed Oil Spray for Soft Wood Garden FurnitureBartoline Boiled Linseed Oil is a linseed oil for wood, especially suitable for use on soft wood garden furniture. The oil protects wood from drying out after long periods in the sun and gives it a natural sheen that lasts, while replacing natural oils and preventing greying and cracking. This water-resistant formula also resists weathering for long-lasting protection and contains additives to speed up the drying process. Hardwoods such as Oak and Teak should instead be treated with Bartoline Teak Oil.Preparation:Shake well before use.Ensure the surface to be treated is clean and dry.Remove any paint or stains with sandpaper.Wipe the surface with a cloth, dampened with White Spirit, to remove any grease or dirt. Treat any mildew etc. with Fungicidal Wash.Always test on an inconspicuous area first.Application:Spray aerosol evenly from a distance of 15-25cm.Work the oil into the wood using a microfibre cloth or brush.Remove excess oil with a clean microfibre cloth.Apply 2-3 coats for maximum protection, allowing 12-24 hours drying time between coats. After Care: Soiled application cloths should not be left where they may constitute a fire hazard, as they can be liable to self-igniting without warning. Immediately after use, wash all cloths with soapy water and dispose of safely outside. Clean equipment with White Spirit. Store in an upright position and secure when transported.
