The Bosch EXPERT 3 Piece S470 Sanding Combi Block Set is a hand sanding solution designed for wood and painted surfaces, offering up to 5x longer life than Bosch C420 sandpaper. Conventional sanding sheets wear out quickly, clog easily, and break down when working around curves and edges. The S470 addresses these problems using Bosch's Surface Structure technology, which combines advanced bonding and surface coating techniques to lock the abrasive grain firmly to the flexible foam backing. This means the grit stays in place even when sanding around edges and corners, where traditional sheets typically fail fastest. Clogging is significantly reduced, and the foam surface can simply be knocked clean or rinsed with water and reused. The combi block's dual-profile design — one rounded edge and one sharp-angled side — makes it well suited to intricate profiles, tight corners, and contoured surfaces. The flexible foam moulds to the shape of the workpiece, distributing pressure evenly across the contact area for a more consistent, uniform finish. This three-piece set covers medium, fine, and superfine grades, making it practical for painters and decorators, joiners, and finish carpenters who need to take a surface through multiple stages of preparation in a single kit.
