The Wera 17 Piece Kraftform Kompakt VDE Insulated Interchangeable Screwdriver Set is a comprehensive VDE-rated insulated screwdriver set designed for electricians and other tradespeople working on or near live electrical systems up to 1,000V AC. Each tool in the set is individually tested to IEC 60900, with water quench testing at 10,000V to ensure safe use at the approved working voltage of 1,000V. This makes the set fully compliant for professional electrical work where VDE-rated insulation is a mandatory requirement. The inclusion of two Kraftform 817 VDE blade-holding handles means you can switch between the 15 interchangeable blades quickly and efficiently without needing to reach for a separate tool. The set covers a wide range of drive profiles — including slotted, Phillips (PH), Pozi (PZ), square-drive (PZ/S), and TORX® — making it equally suited to electrical installation, panel work, and maintenance tasks. The Kraftform Kompakt VDE 60 iS blade features a reduced-diameter tip specifically designed to access recessed screws and spring elements in tight or awkward locations. Wera's Take it easy Tool Finder system uses colour coding by drive profile and laser-engraved size markings, so you can identify and return the correct blade instantly — a genuine time-saver on busy installations. All blades measure 157mm in length and feature an anti-roll profile and spinning function for added control. The set is stored in a robust folding belt pouch with a fleece-backed textile box that can be wall-mounted or attached to Wera 2go tool carriers using the supplied self-adhesive hook and loop fastener strip.
